UQ's Nine News Ekka interns Annalise Moore, Rhian Deutrom and Virginia Tapp

University of Queensland journalism students are reporting from the Brisbane Exhibition again this year as part of an internship program with Channel Nine.

Annalise Moore, Rhian Deutrom and Virginia Tapp are producing stories from the 10-day event alongside Nine News staff. They’re working in the station’s purpose-build newsroom at the RNA Showgrounds.

The partnership between UQ and  Channel Nine began last year when interns Philippa Coore and Sarah Greenhalgh, with the support of Alexandra Taylor, joined the television crew.

This year’s trio will be publishing stories on NineMSN, JACdigital and UQ’s Ekka YouTube channel
