Chloe Belchamber

Chloe Belchamber is a Journalism and Communication student at the University of Queensland majoring in Public Relations. With an interest in fashion, Chloe has interned for companies such as Princess Polly, Australia's leading women's online retailer. Her main focuses upon this trip will be the environmental impacts of the fast fashion industry.


Chantelle Bringas

Chantelle is in her third year studying a Bachelor of Journalism/Arts, majoring in International Relations & Peace and Conflict Studies. She has completed a number of internships including with the PCYC, Women in Media and The Walkley Foundation and will begin working with ABC Sydney in mid-2018. Chantelle holds the belief that this opportunity to work in Jakarta, will undoubtedly enrich her skills and aspirations to work in war correspondence.


Marian Faa

Marian Faa is currently completing her final semester of a dual degree in Journalism and Arts while working full time as a journalist at the Warwick Daily News. She has written for a number of publications including The Guardian, U on Sunday and the Toowoomba Chronicle. With an Arts major in anthropology, Marian has a passion for culture and politics.


Kobe Howard

Kobe is in the final stages of completing her degree in Journalism at the University of Queensland. Kobe hopes to further her knowledge in international journalism during her time with the UQ in Jakarta 2018 team.


Emmalea Lingard

Based in Brisbane, I am in my fourth year of journalism/Business at The University of Queensland, where I major in Human resources.


Chloe Mabb

Chloe is a final-year Bachelor of Journalism/Arts (Extended French Major) student based in Brisbane. With a keen interest in social and cultural topics, Chloe has pursued opportunities throughout her degree in New Caledonia, Switzerland and Indonesia, as part of the 2018 'UQ in Jakarta' team.


Shi Pui Ng

Shi has a strong passion for communication and representation across cultures and mediums. Coming from an international relations and journalism background, he is interested in engaging and exploring sensitive dynamics in foreign affairs. He has had extensive experience travelling and working in Canada, and was involved with UQ's Student as Partners initiative.


Skye Paine

Skye is studying a combined Bachelor of Business/Bachelor of Journalism at the University of Queensland. She will be travelling to Jakarta in April 2018 to work as a foreign correspondent in the field. Skye has previously completed internships with 4zzz Radio, Channel 9 and St Margaret's Anglican Girls School.


Angel Parsons

Angel is in her final year as a journalism student at the University of Queensland. With an interest in humanities, she is driven to explore the world in terms of how it is made sense of and experienced by real people.


Jacqueline Pon

Jacqui is a third-year Journalism and Arts student at the University of Queensland. Having previously undertaken internships with Courier Mail, Queensland Magazines, Global Hobo, and Brisbane food publication Gourmand & Gourmet, Jacqui has developed a love for reporting on all things food, culture, and youth.


Holly Prassler

Holly Prassler is a member of the UQ in Jakarta 2018 team. She is currently studying in Journalism and Communications majoring in Public Relations. She has previously undertaken internships at 4ZZZ and Queensland Magazines.


Bonnie Radcliffe

Bonnie is a member of the UQ in Jakarta 2018 team, While overseas, Bonnie aims to create visually stimulating content and develop essential skills as an aspiring foreign correspondent while reporting in Indonesia.


Amy Reibelt

Amy Reibelt is currently a Journalism and Communications student at the University of Queensland, majoring in Public Relations. She has previously interned at KDPR and 4ZZZ Radio. As a member of the UQ in Jakarta team, Amy hopes to display her investigative journalism skills.


Holly Richardson

Holly is in her final year as a science and journalism student. She is dedicated to reporting on science and environmental issues as well as regional and rural stories. She has gained experience working in media at the ABC, 4ZZZ, The Brisbane Times and Channel 10 as well as in science through completing her Zoology degree as well as working as a science tutor and mentor.


Stacey Whitlock

Stacey Whitlock is a fourth-year Journalism and Arts student, majoring in English and Popular Music. She is aiming to be a full-time features writer when she graduates. She has previously worked with Global Hobo, 4ZZZ Radio, Queensland Magazines and Invigorate PR.
