My Objectives

The objectives of this video I released is to let the Generation Z group know about promotional culture, self branding and creative engagement, and let them give me likes, comments, and forwarding of this video. When my video becomes more popular and After it is popular, more young people in Generation Z will see it, and it will bring me more likes and comments. Also one big reason is that I want to inspire critical thinking in the Generation Z groups that watch my videos, and to bring inspiration before they want to grow in their self-branding later on.

Target Audience

My target audience for this video is the people of Generation z. Because I think Generation Z needs to have a foundational understanding of promotional culture, self branding and creative engagement. First of all, I am a member of the Generation Z group myself, the current social media platforms are filled with promotional content and a variety of marketing tactics, and with a larger percentage of Generation Z using these platforms, I think it’s important for them to be aware of the content in order to be able to tell if it’s real content or marketing tactics at a later date. Because the Generation Z group is now facing graduation or has already entered the job market, only if they have a good understanding of these contents beforehand can they get direction when they want to develop themselves in the self-development.

Tactic

The strategy I chose was to use some attractive images as the background of the video and incorporate the main speaker (myself) to present it to the target audience. The beginning of my video starts with the promotional culture that the Generation Z group will encounter on social media platforms and turns to cause them to think about self-branding and creativity.

Goal

The Generation Z are familiar with the use of various social media platforms, it is necessary for them to become more critical thinkers, values and thinking will not be easily swayed, this critical thinking can make them refuse to be manipulated by the strategies of certain brands. As they are familiar with all kinds of social media platforms, it is better for them to develop their creativity.

Evaluation Metrics

I want my video to get over a thousand views in the next week, that’s my initial plan. I don’t care if my videos necessarily get a lot of likes and comments, I think for my target audience, if they tune in to watch my video I’ve accomplished my goal.
